On Thompson Reservoir in the Fremont National Forest 14 miles south of Silver Lake. Seventeen sites for tents, trailers, or RVs, with picnic tables, fire grills, well water, and vault toilets--all wheelchair accessible. Boat launching nearby. Leashed pets permitted. No reservations. Open May to mid-Nov. Contact the Silver Lake Ranger Station for more information.
